About

Quiet space of devotionals & community
On Heartfelt Joys (OHJ) is an independent publication launched in February 2026. While this is my start in contributing to the witness of God's light, I hope to build on this as a leverage for persons who identify as women seeking Christ, wishing to share their stories and experiences of how Christ Jesus has opened their lives at the present point of their journey.
As I don't recognize my writings for teaching, OHJ shares monthly inspiration with God's Word meant to encourage you to push through difficult times and obstacles hindering mental and spiritual well-being in Christ.
I am a woman who looks to God for answers (Psalm 121:1-2) on how to wield a healthy mindset amid the anxieties she faces and expresses that into the creative sphere. Dear friends, through God's grace, we each have hope, love, and guidance regardless of who we are (Ephesians 2:8-9; Ephesians 4:3-6; 2 Corinthians 1:12-13).
Food, Health, & Mental Well-Being Tips
As the OHJ newsletter amd community evolve, twice a month I will include links to healthy tips and recipes that will hopefully be useful to OHJ's readers.
My goal for OHJ is to build it into a quiet space for not just devotions and prayer. Health and community play a part into taking care of what God gives through His grace and love.
Thanks for reading!

A word about our platform.
While I enjoy Substack, I felt like its vibe mirrored something I admit I'm not comfortable with: the voice of social media. I wanted to create a newsletter where I could create a community sharing a quiet space, a place to just be. This is why I chose Ghost.io (no affiliate link here, by the way) for OHJ's designated space.
